Building on the momentum of the inaugural year, Cohort 2 deepened the ECWP’s impact, uniting educators to explore writing, pedagogy, and leadership in a dynamic, collaborative institute.
Participants
In 2016, Cohort 2 brought together 25 dedicated educators from the Escambia County School District for an intensive 12-day Emerald Coast Writing Project Institute. These fellows fully immersed themselves in collaborative learning, refining their teaching practices and strengthening their own writing. Beyond the summer institute, they collectively contributed 1,000 hours of professional development across the county, extending the ECWP’s reach and impact in local classrooms.
