Courses & Requirements

UWF’s online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance includes 120 credit hours. After completing 60 credit hours in general education, including recommended lower-division prerequisite courses, you will complete 60 credit hours for the Finance major.

General Education (60 credit hours)

In addition to the General Education requirements listed on the catalog, students must satisfy all additional University requirements, including the Gordon Rule, multicultural, and foreign language requirements. With appropriate planning and coordination with an academic advisor, students may satisfy some of the general University requirements through the General Education curriculum.

Lower Division Electives (3-12 credit hours)

Students must complete sufficient 1000/2000 level electives to satisfy at least 60 sh in the lower division. Current UWF students may use elective courses at any level (1000-4000) to meet this elective requirement.

A minimum course grade of “C” is required in all College of Business prerequisites and courses.

How to Apply

To apply to the online BSBA in Finance at UWF, you’ll submit an application for undergraduate admission with its $30 application fee along with the following:

Submit official transcripts from all institutions previously attended whose accrediting agency is included on the list of UWF-approved accrediting agencies
ACT or SAT scores
Completed residency application form for tuition purposes
Completed departmental application form

Tuition waivers cover up to 75% of the non-resident portion of your tuition and are available to non-Florida residents (including international students) admitted to online campus programs and registered for online courses in active pursuit of that degree or certificate. You must pay all other assessed tuition and fees. The renewal of Online Campus Out-of-State Tuition Waivers is not automatic. Alabama Differential Out-of-State Tuition

Residents of Alabama are eligible for Alabama Differential Tuition, a reduced out-of-state tuition rate. To verify residency status for tuition purposes, new undergraduate students should contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and new graduate students should contact the Graduate School.
