Employer deliverables for the UWF Talent Catalyst program.


Recruiting and Vetting

  • Flexible Involvement: Employers choose their level of involvement in recruiting and vetting students.
  • Efficient Hiring Partner: UWF Program staff save you time and money recruiting; we:
    • Post positions on Handshake (online career hub and recruiting system),
    • Share the opportunity with department heads and professors across campus,
    • Participate in classroom awareness sessions.
    • Collect applications from students,
    • Validate student eligibility, and
    • Move qualified applicants to a secure portal for employer access.

Mentor and Mentee Onboarding and Training

A mentoring expert will provide training to ensure program participants, both students and mentors, are well-prepared to be mentees and mentors through tailored training programs.

Networking, Speaker Events, Meet and Greets: Participate in networking and speaker events with all Talent Catalyst program students and mentors.

Professionally Developed Students Workforce-Ready Graduates: Benefit from hiring students who are provided 16+ hours of training every semester on essential professional skills focusing on key competencies such as communication, critical thinking, leadership, professionalism and teamwork, and are ready to contribute effectively to your organization.

Student Access & Awareness - Visibility Options: Engage with students for visibility and presence at least once per semester through:

  • Classroom visits.
  • Student organization interactions.
  • Attend on-campus Program events to engage with Talent Catalyst program students.
  • Speaking opportunities for your leaders at Program events and panel discussions.
