Biography
Singer/songwriter Tris has had a deep love of music her entire life. Tris’s first performance was when she was just 3 years old, and she brought down the house! Since then her passion for music has continued to grow.
Beginning in musical theatre, Tris spent the majority of her youth in group rehearsals and private lessons. She was accepted into the prestigious Interlochen Center for the Arts in northern Michigan where she intensively studied songwriting and contemporary vocals.
Tris plays guitar, and piano, and is also classically trained in voice. She feels primarily influenced by 60s/70s classic rock as well as modern alternative sounds. Her original songs have been described by many as soul-searching and poetic.
Tris is a regular performer at venues all around the Gulf Coast and has presented shows in NYC, Nashville, Chicago, Colorado, and New Orleans. Tris has a big heart and gives back to society. She is active in organizing benefit concerts to raise money for The Tyler Robinson Foundation, a pediatric cancer nonprofit organization created by the Grammy award-winning band, Imagine Dragons. They recognized her efforts as Ambassador of the Year at a Gala in Las Vegas. In addition to her solo career, Tris is the lead singer of the Classic Rock band Goldmine. At present, she is working on her Vocal Performance degree at the University of West Florida and gearing up to release her debut EP.
