Biography

Kristy Craig is a dynamic and community-focused nonprofit leader with extensive experience in the field of early education. Serving as Executive Director for ReadyKids!, Kristy has a passion for developing others and inspiring personal and professional growth. Kristy’s areas of expertise include community engagement, event planning, volunteer and donor management, mentorship development, and content creation. She thrives on cultivating relationships and brings exceptional communication skills to every role. Kristy excels at transforming big ideas into actionable results and finds joy in being a personal champion for those around her.

As a community connector and education advocate, Kristy believes in giving back to her hometown of Pensacola. She has shared her time with the UWF Executive Mentor Program, Guardian Ad Litem, Pensacola Young Professionals, United Way of West Florida, Greater Pensacola Chamber, and Achieve Escambia. She is honored to be a graduate of the Leadership Pensacola class of 2024 and she cherishes her role as a Pre-K mentor with the ReadingPals program.

Under her leadership, ReadyKids! was recognized as the 2024 Nonprofit of the Year by the Greater Pensacola Chamber and the 2023 Partner Agency of the Year by United Way of West Florida. Kristy’s accolades include being named an InWeekly Rising Star in 2024 and Leader of the Year by Pensacola Young Professionals in 2022. She has also received nominations for a Pensacola Area Commitment to Excellence (PACE) Award by the Greater Pensacola Chamber in 2025 and Women’s Empowerment Award by the Junior League of Pensacola in 2023.

Kristy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of West Florida and seeks to be a lifelong learner.
