Enjoy the Perks of Leisure Learning

Leisure Learning does more than provide enriching educational experiences. The program builds a community rooted in genuine connection, serving as a home for local individuals looking to connect with others who share a passion for lifelong learning. Along with a wide variety of classes covering a range of interests, membership includes benefits such as a printed catalog mailed directly to your home, making it easy to stay informed about upcoming classes and events.
One benefit available to active members is the opportunity to purchase a UWF Nautilus Card. The process is simple! Call our Student Support and request proof of your Leisure Learning membership. Take your proof of membership to the UWF Cashier’s Office in Building 20E and pay a $10 fee for the card. With your payment receipt, proof of membership and a government-issued ID, visit the Nautilus Card Office in Building 20W to have your picture taken and your card issued. This official UWF identification card can be used to:
- Check our books and access electronic databases at the UWF Library
- Purchase $9 admission tickets to the UWF Center for Fine and Performing Arts events
Another benefit of Leisure Learning is the Bring a Friend to Class opportunity. Current members are encouraged to invite a guest to a class to see if they would be interested in joining Leisure Learning. Guests must be registered by the membership holder through our registration system, and the class price will apply. This opportunity allows your guest to experience the joy of Leisure Learning first-hand. Even better, if your friend decides to join Leisure Learning, you and your friend will receive a $15 credit voucher for a future class or event! Fun classes we offer include:
- Behind-the-scenes tours of businesses in the community
- Insightful lectures by field experts
- Delicious meals at local restaurants
- Exciting events, such as shows at the planetarium
