Camp Kindred

June 15, 2026

Camp Description

Step into the stories of five remarkable friends—Felicity, Josefina, Kaya, Addy and Samantha— to explore American history through hands-on creativity, play and connection. Create colonial crafts like homemade quill pens and a charming paper horse, try your hand at basket weaving, and make fruit leather, a homemade sweet treat. Shape your own clay creation, learn to make fresh tortillas and craft traditional corn husk dolls. Storytelling and artistry continue with shell necklaces, shadow puppets and embroidered bookmarks. Play is at the heart of Camp Kindred. Enjoy lively games and entertainment from across eras, including the elegant Game of Graces, spinning Whirligigs and classic Hopscotch, bringing each time period to life. More than an American Girl camp, Camp Kindred is a place where friendship grows, stories connect and every camper becomes part of something shared and special — just like the characters who inspired it.

Registration Opens March 4
