Marcia Wagner

Biography

My name is Marcia Wagner and I have been creating art since college in the 70's. I began teaching in a small art museum in Massachusetts in 1992. I then began teaching in public schools in 1998. I retired in 2019 and moved to Florida. I currently teach for the Pensacola Museum of Art. I have a small art studio in my home where I work in my art journals daily. I am a keen student of art history and find modern and contemporary art most compelling. Creativity is important for all artists. As an art teacher and practicing artist I have found creativity exercises imperative to keep my lessons innovative and my own artistic practice fresh.
