Dr. Felicia Morgan

Biography

Dr. Felicia Morgan is a Professor of Marketing in the Department of Commerce. She joined UWF in 2007. Her research focuses on services marketing, understanding and improving the customer experience, and international marketing. 

Morgan has presented her work at numerous national, international, and regional conferences including American Marketing Association Summer and Winter Conferences, Academy of Marketing Science and the Society for Marketing Advances. Her research is published in outlets such as California Management Review, Journal of International Marketing and the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing.

Morgan teaches across the marketing discipline in undergraduate and graduate courses such as Marketing Strategy, Marketing Management, Services Marketing, International Business and Consumer Behavior. She is passionate about involving students in experiential learning activities and high-impact practices—particularly those that involve study abroad and student participation in research. Over the years, Morgan has taught UWF students in Germany, France, England and Hong Kong as well as innumerable international students here on the UWF campus and abroad. She has co-authored several conference papers with students to date. Morgan was honored with the UWF Student Government Association’s Distinguished Teaching Award in 2010 and was a finalist for the award in 2014. 

Morgan earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2004. She also holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans.
