Spring 2023 Elections

Thank you to all who vote in the 2023 SGA Elections! Results from the most recent election may be found in the Previous Elections Results tab. If you have any questions regarding SGA Elections or being invovled in the Elections Commission in the future, please contact sgaelection@uwf.edu

2023 SGA Election Packet

The Election Commission is made up of the Supervisor of Elections and Election Commissioners. The Election Commission ensures there is a smooth and fair election season. All interested candidates who wish to run for a position in the 2023 Election must meet with one of the members of the Election Commission.

Office Hours for SGA Election Commission Meetings

  • Monday - 3-4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday - Noon-5 p.m.
  • Wednesday - 11AM-Noon and 3:30-5 p.m.
  • Thursday - 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m.
  • Friday - 10-11 a.m. and 2-4 p.m.

SGA Election Commission meetings will take place in the SGA Office; Bldg 22. Room 227

Scheduling an appointment is not necessary for drop-in office hours, which will take place January 31st - February 14th. Afterwards, all appointments must be made individually. 

If you are unable to meet with the Election Commission during drop-in office hours, please email sgaelections@uwf.edu with your availability.

 

SGA's Senate is comprised of student representatives elected by each academic college. The total number of available senate seats representing each college for the 2023-2024 academic year is: 

College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities - 4

College of Business - 4

College of Education and Professional Studies - 5

Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering - 7

Usha Kundu, MD College of Health - 8
