About TeacherReady
TeacherReady will prepare you to enter a K-12 classroom equipped for success. We have helped over 3,000 teachers become teachers in more than 30 subject areas, across the nation and internationally.
Online Teacher Certification: What Will You Learn?
During the TeacherReady program, you will complete online teacher certification coursework, in-classroom teacher training and the three Florida professional teaching certification exams.
Students enrolled after April 4, 2022, can also receive a Florida Reading Endorsement upon completing the program. Learn more about adding the Florida Reading Endorsement to your professional certification. Students getting certified in Pre-K Primary, Elementary Education, English 5-9, English 6-12, ESOL and Exceptional Student Education are required to apply for the Florida Reading Endorsement with the FLDOE. While all TeacherReady students will meet the requirements upon completion, students obtaining certification in other areas than mentioned above can elect not to apply for the endorsement.

Why Should You Get Certified?
- More Job Options: American International Schools are on the lookout for teachers who hold certification from a U.S. state. You are also more likely to get a job teaching subjects other than English in local community school, if you are certified.
- Competitive Advantage: Even non-American schools abroad are more likely to hire a certified teacher over a non-certified teacher. They may also pay more, offer more extra-curricular positions, and allow more room for growth.
- Invest In Your Future: The time may come to travel back to the U.S. When that happens, you will need to be a certified teacher to get a job in most school districts. Why not start now, while you are already teaching?
Reach your career goals in less than a year with a program that is online, flexible, affordable and focused on student success.
We work to help people become teachers. But, we also see ourselves as liaisons to career change. We help future teachers plan the transition.
Make your education twice as powerful. You can become a teacher with a bachelor's degree in any field.
