Course Redesign Faculty Teaching Award
The UWF Library has provided funding for Faculty Teaching Awards for Course Redesign using Open Education Resources. The Request for Proposals is attached.
Proposals from faculty who teach courses in General Education, large enrollment courses, and courses with a history of high textbook costs that could be reduced by adopting suitable Open Education Resources (OERs) or other low-cost or zero-cost materials are especially encouraged.
New Deadline for Proposal Submissions is April 24, 2020.
Remote participation will be accomodated.

How CUTLA Writers works
Participating in CUTLA Writers requires that you make a commitment to write and tell others regularly about your progress. Accountability is managed through email and online surveys.
When you enroll in the CUTLA Writers, you agree to engage in the following activities for one term:
- Identify specific writing goals each week (examples of appropriate writing goals: schedule specific times (days and times) when you will write that week, write a specific number of pages (or a specific number of words), or complete a task required to begin writing).
- Report on your progress in a weekly email survey. CUTLA will send the survey as a Google form. Survey questions will ask you to report your writing activities in the past week and set goals for the next week. Survey are sent on Mondays.
Signing up now will commit you to receive weekly emails for the writing group for one semester. The final email of the term includes a question that will allow you to opt in for the writing group during the following term.
If you want to join the CUTLA Writers, send an email to Claudia Stanny (email@example.com). The group will begin January 6, 2020 but you can join at any time.
