To download free anti-virus software, visit SoftServ, a service provided by the University that distributes software for free to students. Select McAfee for Students, click Continue, and follow the instructions provided to download McAfee VirusScan. Before doing this, you must to uninstall existing Anti-Virus programs (such as Norton AntiVirus or older versions of McAfee VirusScan) through Add/Remove Programs (which may be accessed through the Control Panel).
