Click Start
Click Programs.
Click Windows Update.
If you get a popup window asking you if you want to install and run Windows Update, click yes.
Windows Update will start checking your computer to see what needs to be updated.
Click Express Install to automatically select all required and critical updates
Click Install
You can set your computer to automatically update without going to the Windows Update site, To do this;
If your using XP, Click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Automatic Update
Click Automatic and then choose a time of day that best suits you, after you enter your time click OK .
