Visit SoftServ, a service provided by the University that distributes software for free to students. Select McAfee for Students, click Continue, and follow the instructions provided below to download McAfee. Before doing this, it is highly recommended to uninstall existing Anti-Virus programs (such as Norton AntiVirus or another version of McAfee VirusScan) through Add/Remove Programs (which may be accessed through the Control Panel). It may also be necessary to download an uninstallion tool to get rid of all remnants of Norton or another existing anti-virus software. They can be found at the following links.
