Nominees for the William M. Healey Leadership Award must demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship, integrity, credibility and loyalty to Recreation and Sports Services. Applicants must exhibit commitment to the mission, vision and values of the department and The University of West Florida.

Each nominee must submit a nomination form, current resume, and two letters of nomination/ recommendation to the William M. Healey Award Selection Committee by the designated deadline. The winner of the $500 scholarship award will be announced March 28th at the 22nd Annual Student Leadership Awards Banquet hosted by the Division of Student Affairs. A name plate and photograph of the winner will be included in the historical plaque located in the Recreation and Sports Services office complex.
