Alex Jones
Alex is from the small town of Wewahitchka, FL. He served
4 years in the United States Marine Corps before returning
to Florida to pursue a degree in athletic training. His
experience in the Marine Corps gave him a love and
understanding for the benefit of incorporating fitness into
everyday life. He has enjoyed developing training
programs to meet his own physical goals. These goals
included everything from power lifting to running a
marathon. He is looking forward to the opportunity to help
others reach fitness goals through
person-specific
fitness plans.

Dianne Abel
Dianne grew up with the “military brat lifestyle,” but considers home to be Okinawa, Japan. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in both Community Health Education and Exercise Science here at UWF. She is currently working on a Master’s in Exercise Science and also College Student Affairs Administration. Dianne has played sports and lived an active lifestyle her entire life, and strives to achieve new goals such as training for her first half-marathon. She appreciates and admires the work needed for fitness, whether it’s in gaining one’s dream physique or overcoming obstacles to make time for improving your overall health and well-being. Whatever your motivation is for wanting to exercise, Dianne looks forward to being a part of your journey.

Gus Haas
Gus was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana. He grew up wrestling and played football. When Gus graduated high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps Infantry, where he served four years. He moved to Pensacola from North Carolina to pursue his education and start a new chapter in his life. Gus is currently attending school at Pensacola State College and intending to transfer to UWF next fall. For fun, he enjoys relaxing at the beach with friends, scuba diving, cooking, sports and attending church.

Mariel Crawford
Mariel is originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, but being in a military family she considers Shalimar, Florida to be her home. She is currently an Exercise Science major and plans to attend graduate school to become a physical therapist. Mariel has been interested in the fitness field ever since high school when she decided it was time to leave her old habits behind and get into shape. Through her journey of improving her own physical activity habits and health, she has developed a love for fitness and helping people achieve all of their fitness goals.

Jake Lane
Jake is from Albany, Georgia. He came to Pensacola after four years in the Marine Corps Infantry to live the beach life and get his degree in mechanical engineering. He enjoys power lifting and various circuit training. Jake got my personal training certificate because he enjoys the healthy and fit lifestyle and wishes to help as many people as he can achieve it.

Latasha Weinmann
Latasha Weinmann, originally from Long Island New York, moved to Pensacola to attend the University of West Florida. Majoring in Exercise Science, Latasha has been involved with campus Recreation since 2010, working as a Fitness Center Monitor, Fitness/Wellness Intern and Personal Trainer. She is a former UWF cheerleader and is currently a professional contemporary dancer as well as the Team Director at Five Flags Dance Academy. For the past year and a half, Latasha has been working as a full-time intern Strength Coach with UWF Athletics and Head Coach Kent Morgan. Each day Latasha focuses on growing and learning as both a trainer and person. She loves to inspire others and be inspired. Latasha is excited and motivated to work hard and share her passion for training.

Lita Hudak
Lita Hudak is from Pompano Beach, FL and chose to attend UWF to study marine biology. When she's not in the lab, you can find her working out in the Fitness Center or Climbing Wall. Lita has worked multiple positions with UWF Recreation that include Customer Service, Fitness Monitor, Fitness Supervisor, and now Personal Trainer. She has been an athlete all of her life and loves to bring people with no experience into the world of fitness. Her main goal as a Personal Trainer is to help clients transform their bodies and their lives through education and hard work!

Zach Leach
Zachary "Zach" Leach was born and raised in Middletown, Delaware. He attended Middleton High School and was captain of the Lacrosse team his senior year. He received a scholarship to play lacrosse at St. Andrews Presbyterian College in North Carolina. After his freshman year, Zach enlisted into the Marine Corps, where he served four years in the infantry as a Machine Gunner. He is now a student at the University of West Florida and is majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. Zach enjoys high-intensity training and one day hopes to compete in the CrossFit Games. His hobbies include: hunting, fishing, surfing, sky diving, and he is always open to trying new things.
