DR. GAYLE BAUGH RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL AWARDS
Dr. Gayle Baugh, Associate Professor, Management/ MIS, recently returned from the Academy of Management annual conference in Montreal, Canada, where she received two prestigious international awards. First, she received the Best Careers Paper in the Regions 2010 award from the Careers Division for her co-authored article titled "Monitoring Authenticity across Multiple Work Contexts: A Model of the Creation and Development of Career Reputations." Second, she received the Outstanding Reviewer award from the Organization Behavior Division. The Academy of Management is the oldest and largest Management association in the world with over 19,000 members in 105 countries. The annual conference in 2010 was attended by 8000 participants from over 80 countries. These awards are rare and very prestigious for Management scholars.
