eDesktop Virtual Computer Lab

eDesktop is a virtual computer lab that allows UWF students, faculty, and staff to access university-licensed computer applications via the Internet. When using eDesktop, it appears as though you are sitting in front of a workstation in a campus computer lab - complete with the most frequently used computer applications. Essentially, eDesktop allows you to work on a lab computer from home or any location with a high-speed Internet connection.

Not only is eDesktop a tool of convenience; it also enables faculty to offer online courses where students can complete homework assignments using software that would otherwise only be available in a campus computer lab. eDesktop enables UWF to offer a top-rate computing environment to students regardless of their location.
