This community brings together students from all corners of the world in their own unique community at UWF. Through daily interactions
with other residents and special cross-cultural programming, you will learn first-hand about different world perspectives and their
global impact. Residents of Global Living agree to share their rooms with students from other cultural backgrounds and live as active
participants in the community's various programs. This hall is open to all students.
Reserve Officer Training Corps
Community - The ROTC Community is reserved for individuals who are participants in the ROTC program while enrolled at UWF.
The Outdoor Experience themed community is focused on outdoor recreation such as hiking, camping, canoeing, rock climbing, and other activities. Residents will learn more about outdoor recreation from the outdoor adventure staff. Residents participate in programming based on the wellness wheel: a model with focuses on all aspects of wellness. Students in this community also have the opportunity to live in a tobacco, alcohol and drug-free environment. This hall is open to all students.
The Argos Give Back themed community engages students in a unique combination of activities designed to enhance their academic, social and civic development. This allows students to experience many aspects of our campus and local communities, challenge their individual and collective knowledge and values, and integrate their academic studies with community work. This hall is open to all students.
The REAL men community is open to First Time In College (FTIC) male students to encourage retention and student success with our on-campus male population. The community encourages academic success, strong relationships, utilization of campus resources, and leadership development through positive reinforcement. Opportunities exist for mentoring relationships and men's personal growth and development as men in leadership. First preference will go to male FTIC students.
The Women of Worth community engages women in the leadership process through intentional leadership learning opportunities designed specifically for First Time In College (FTIC) women. Opportunities exist for mentoring relationships and women's personal growth and development as leaders. The students a part of Women of Worth will gain valuable knowledge, skills and experiences vital for becoming strong women in leadership. First preference will go to female FTC students.
Do you have school spirit? Do you enjoy intramural sports? Do you want to get more involved? Argie Spirit is the place for you! In this living learning community, all students will have the opportunity to get involved in athletic and Homecoming events. Students will attend athletic events as a group and compete in Homecoming events together. This hall is open to all students.
Do you enjoy everything about the arts? Then this is the building for you! This themed community is designed for students that have an interest in fine & performaning arts. This community offers an environment supporting students with a shared interest in music, dramatic performance, and artistic expression This hall is open to all students.
