Pep Rally (7:30pm, Field House) – All members of the campus community are invited to cheer on the fall Athletic teams and get fired up for UWF Homecoming! Spirit competition organizations will show their spirit by revealing their UWF Big Heads, and the Mr. & Ms. UWF and Prince and Princess finalists will introduce themselves to the campus community with a stirring Lip Sync performance.

Wednesday, October 3

Cannon Fest (11:00am-2:00pm, Cannon Green) – Retrieved from the Pensacola Pass by UWF Student Robert Annin, the Cannon Green’s namesake represents the impact of students on the growth and progress of the University of West Florida. Come celebrate student involvement with free food, music, games, and much more at what may be the pinnacle of campus tradition at UWF.

Bonfire (8:00pm, Oak Grove) – Good music, good friends, and a great location are the hallmark of this Homecoming tradition. Come for the s’mores - stay for the great atmosphere!

Thursday, October 4

Golden Fleece Challenge (All Day) – Students, staff, and alumni quest for a “golden fleece” hidden somewhere on UWF’s campus. Will you and your crew be first to the prize?

UWF Volleyball Match (7:00pm, Field House)

Argo Splash (8:30pm-11:00pm; UWF Pool) – One of Homecoming’s biggest crowd-pleasers is back and bigger than ever in 2012! With events like Intramural Battleship, the cardboard boat race, and a Mr. & Ms. UWF high- dive contest, everyone is sure to be talking about this event for weeks! Bring your swimsuit and towel and get ready to get wet!

Friday, October 5

Tailgate Party (4:00pm-7:00pm; Soccer Complex) – Alumni, students, and friends of UWF come together amidst food, tents, and lawn games to get ready for the night’s soccer matches. Join our party, or set up your own tailgate from 3:30-4:00pm! Click here for tailgating procedures.

Women’s and Men’s Soccer Game (5:00pm and 7:00pm; Soccer Field) – Cheer on your University of West Florida Argonauts, compete in the Biggest “Argo- Nut” contest, and find out who will be named 2012 Mr. & Ms. UWF and Prince and Princess.

Homecoming Dance Party (10:00pm-1:00am; Conference Center) – Throw down Argonaut-style at this club-themed dance party. Two distinct dance rooms will cater to everyone’s style, and the huge prize giveaways will be sure to keep everyone hyped all night long.

Saturday, October 6

Homecoming Festival (11:00am-3:00pm; Camellia Green) – A celebration of the UWF community, this event will feature free food, a family fun zone for the kids, festival vendors, a student concert, and more! Also, check out the UWF Showcase to learn how UWF faculty and students are making a difference on campus and beyond.

Parade (12:00pm; Camellia Green) – Don’t be late to the Festival, because the Homecoming Parade will be rolling through at high-noon! Student organizations will show the crowd how The Legend Lives as they toss goodies from their parade floats. Marching bands will set the tone and various other special guests are sure to entertain. Parents, bring your kids, wagons, and strollers to give our “Littlest Argos” the chance to be a part of the parade themselves!

Homecoming Concert (8:00pm; Field House, Doors open at 7:00pm) – Get ready for Interscope recording artist and XXL magazine's "2012 Freshman Class" member Roscoe Dash! This is a free show for UWF students. Come early to check out the "See Me U" campus tour. Keep your eye out on Facebook and Twitter for your chance to win backstage passes and VIP treatment!
