End-Product Description
MOBILCOM is designed to facilitate communication through the medium of light. Through Morse code methods previously used in the U.S. Navy for signal lamp communications, a translated, coded message will be sent through open air (line-of-sight) to a receiving camera via high-power LED pulses. The camera receiver will take the transmitted message and either 1) decode it back to English and display it for informative uses, or 2) send appropriate signals to a connected device (containing a microprocessor) that is designed to act out directiveshence offering remote control of a mechanism without the use of radio or satellite, maintaining radio silence; thus, making the product ideal for covert operations and isolated destinations.
