As a parent you already know the value of a UWF education. What you may not know is that tuition covers less than 25 percent of the cost of your child’s education, and state support alone cannot make up the difference. That’s why the UWF Annual Fund looks to alumni, friends and parents to bridge that gap with private support.
Each year since its inception, the Parent Campaign has sought to offer parents an opportunity to help direct the future of the university. Last year alone, parents helped support Orientation, the John C. Pace Library and the Counseling Center to name a few.
As always, parent participation is more valuable to UWF than the size of each gift or even its designation. A strong showing of parent support sends the message that UWF parents believe in the high-quality education UWF provides and are willing to invest in not only the education of their student, but of others as well.
