Welcome to the UWF Department of Environmental Studies Graduate Program. We offer a Masters in Environmental Science that will provide you with advanced research and education in earth and environmental sciences.

Program Description

Departmental areas of concentration include:

  • coastal science
  • geographic information science
  • hydrogeology
  • soil science 
  • dendrochronology
  • contaminant hydrogeology
  • meteorology/climatology

The program includes a thesis and non-thesis option, both of which provide a foundation for employment in the private and public sectors of the environmental fields.  In addition, the thesis option prepares students for advanced study leading to the doctoral degree.
