Fraud, Lies, and Hermes Ties

Mr. Beam, author, and former HealthSouth executive took part in a $2 Billion accounting fraud at the company that resulted in one of the largest corporate frauds in U.S. history. In 2003 he pled guilty to the crime and was sent to federal prison. He began his public speaking career in 2009. His primary message is about corporate fraud, who is actually responsible, how they take place, and what can be done to prevent frauds. 

Event is free and open to the public.

The Dean and College of Business (CoB) student organizations welcome prospective, new, and returning CoB majors. Enjoy a FREE LUNCH, meet the Dean's staff, CoB advisors, representatives of our student organizations, network with CoB students, and win door prizes.

This is a College of Business event. RSVP is not required.

Award-winning journalist and business executive Michael Ryan gives it to you straight. There's no sugar-coating here. Just solid advice that could either help make or break your career. He has seen a lot – the good and the bad – and is eager to share his experiences to help others. He details the road to success, how to take care of yourself, how to take control and what to avoid if you become a manager.

Event is free and open to the public.


 

Meet & Greet Welcome Event

All mentors, students, and alumni of the Executive Mentor Program are invited to join us at the Meet & Greet to kick off the school year, even if you have not been matched yet. The event offers you the opportunity to network and build professional relationships with other participants in the program.
Beverages & heavy hors d' oeuvres will be provided.
