
The Chemistry Department has seven full-time faculty members representing all of the main sub disciplines of chemistry (Analytical, Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry). Several faculty members have won University teaching awards fo rtheir outstanding teaching abilities. In addition, the Department is very active in outreach activities to promote science education in the local community and throughout th estate.
In adition to the full-time faculty, the Chemistry Department has many well qualified adjunct faculty with experience in education, the chemical industry, medical fields, and other areas. This diverse faculty and staff offers a well rounded environment for students seeking an education in chemistry.
