Scholarships are usually awarded every fall and spring to the top undergraduate student in each of the following programs; however, these scholarships are currently unavailable:
- Biology
- Marine Biology
- Interdisciplinary Studies
- Health Sciences
The criteria for our undergraduate scholarships are listed below:
- There’s no application; students are awarded based on highest UWF gpa earned.
- Student must be at least junior level and must have at least one full-time semester completed at UWF.
- Student must be enrolled full-time for the semester of award.
- If there’s a tie in the gpa, the biology faculty vote on the recipient.
- Minimum gpa required is 3.50.
Scholarships usually cover textbook costs and the amount may vary each term.
