Mr. Stanhope graduated from the University of West Florida in 1997 with a Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science.
In 2005, Mr. Stanhope completed his Master's Degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. Chuck brings to the University
a diverse background including experience as a professional athlete, teacher, coach, and guidance counselor.
As an advisor in the UAC, Mr. Stanhope is also responsible for teaching the Academic Foundations Seminar, a freshmen seminar
course to assist students in adjusting to the university and learning the skills to help them succeed as students, his class was the winner of the 2010 Project Showcase.
As is
the case with the other professional advisors in the University Advising Center, he has a strong dedication to helping
students succeed not only by assisting them in choosing the appropriate courses and meeting the academic requirements of
the university, but to the many other transitions that new freshman face.
