Additional expenses for those pursuing a CLS degree


Students should refer to the current UWF catalog for tuition, fees, housing costs and other expenses common to all university students. In addition, CLS students have special costs. The following are approximations only.

Health and Immunization Status Requirements

Students who are selected into the clinical year are required to submit a Status of Health and Immunization form signed by their physician. As part of this requirement, they are asked to provide proof of immunity or vaccination for Rubella, Hepatitis B and Varicella Zoster. Students must have health insurance during their hospital phase, and are required to provide proof of it prior to placement. The UWF Health Center provides immunizations, lab work and physicals.
