Biography

Dr. Tiffany Jackman, Clinical Assistant Professor, teaches Legal Fundamental of Health, Personnel Administration in Health, Human Resources in Healthcare, and Healthcare Law.

Dr. Jackman began working in healthcare in 1998 as a home health caregiver. She spent 13 years as a surgical assistant before becoming the Operating Room Case Coordinator. Later, she became the Manager of Perioperative Materials Management and Supply Chain, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, overseeing inventory for multiple operating departments including Wiser, Day Surgery Center, Batson Children's, and the Adult Operating Room. Dr. Jackman spent several years as a preceptor and lecturer for professional development at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Before coming to UWF in 2017, she worked as an administrator at the University of Mississippi Medical Center's Department of Medicine. She has extensive experience in healthcare education and clinical trial research. She is also a Certified Associate of Healthcare Information and Management Systems. Dr. Jackman completed a health policy internship with the Mississippi State Legislature for Mississippi Public Health Association in 2014.

Dr. Jackman received an associate’s degree in applied science and surgical technology from Hinds Community College, a bachelor's of science degree in biology from Mississippi College, a master's of health science from the University of Mississippi, and doctorate in health administration from the University of Mississippi.
