Why Study Military Science and Leadership at UWF?
Army ROTC offers two-, three- and four-year programs to develop the future leaders of the United States Army and to learn the leadership skills needed for success.
Cadets can qualify for a $420 per month stipend or compete for scholarships that cover full tuition and fees up to $10,000 a year in room and board. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, not financial need.
Our facilities include a 40-foot rappel tower and a low ropes course. Army ROTC provides rappelling equipment and certified instructors.
What You Will Learn
In addition to academic and practical application of leadership, you will learn military tactics and strategy, professional conduct and ethical decision-making.
The Basic Course takes place during your first two years in college as elective courses.
Freshman year topics include:
