Yellow Bike 2.0

The community bike share program is back, with a new twist.

UWF Recreation and Sports Services, along with Outdoor Adventures, offers free Yellow Bikes to students in need. Come to the Bike Shop (Bldg 209) with a donation of two cans of yellow spray paint and get your Yellow Bike today. All you have to do from there is invest in a good lock and a little time.

In case you haven’t heard of them, Yellow Bikes are created from abandoned bicycles, painted yellow and converted into a simple commuting bike for around campus. Instead of turning these loose for productive but short lifespans, Yellow Bikes will now be donated to a student upon request. Each student can request one Yellow Bike. All we ask in return is that you consider donating your Yellow Bike back to Recreation and Sports Services once you've graduated.
