This tournament is not restricted to regional tournament champions, league champions or limited to a certain number of teams from any one school. It is open to junior colleges, community colleges, four year universities, and military teams.

Dear Flag Football Participant
This is an invitation to participate in the 2017 NIRSA Championship Series Flag Football National Championships hosted by the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida.
Divisions of Competition
COLLEGE - All team members must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for Fall Semester to qualify for Men, Women or Co-Rec at the Collegiate level. Dates of play for the Collegiate Division will be January 5-7, 2018. There is a mandatory captain's meeting for Collegiate teams, which will be held at 6:45PM on Thursday, January 4th at Ashton Brosnaham Park.
OPEN - All other participants are invited to participate in the Open Division. This includes teams with faculty / staff member or military applications. Dates of play for the Open Division will be January 6-7, 2018.
Games will be played under NIRSA rules. This will be a 3 or 4 team pool play tournament with the top two teams out of each pool advancing to a single elimination playoff. We will be guaranteeing a 2 game minimum to all teams. Men's / Women's rosters are limited to 15 players and co-rec rosters are limited to 16 players. Collegiate Rosters must be received no later than Friday, December 8th at 5:00pm.
COLLEGE - Entry fee is $400.00 per team. All collegiate entry fees must be processed through IMLeagues.com no later than Friday, December 8th at 5:00pm. Fees are not refundable unless there are teams on a waiting list. There will be a late fee of $50 assessed to teams who pay after December 8, 2017.
OPEN - Entry fee is $400.00 per team. The registration deadline is Wednesday, January 3, 2018. You will pay a $50 deposit at the time of registration. Your card will be charged the additional $350 if your team registers for the tournament and does not show up to play. Teams have until Thursday, January 4th at 5pm to notify us if your team cannot play in the tournament. The card on file will be charge the remainder of the entry fee if you do not notify us before January 4th or if payment is not received before your first game.

All registrations and payments will be processed through IMLeagues.com. Please follow the steps below to get your team signed up to compete for a National Championship!!
1. Go to IMLeagues.com
2. Click on the National Flag Football link and then click the division that your team will be competing in (ie Men, Women, Co-Rec, or Open).
3. Choose "Register / Signup" in the upper right hand corner and then select "Create Team."
4. Select "Create Account," in the blue box at the top of the screen or "Login," If you already have an IMLeagues account.
5. You will be prompted to enter your team information and process your payment.
6. Once your team is registered and paid for in IMLeagues, you will need to print and fill out the Player Certification Form below and submit it by December 8th:
7. Once your team is created and registered each member of your team must register on IMLeagues.com in order to complete the "Waiver," and "Code of Conduct" forms. They can simply "Join a Team," once their account is created.

If you do not have an existing IMLeagues account. Go to www.imleagues.com/nirsa:
-Click on the "Create Account" button
-Input your information
-You are registered with the NIRSA Championship Series
-Find your team under the respective league/sport
-Click "Join Team" and fill out the required forms
If you have an existing IMLeagues account, log into your account and follow the instructions below:
-At the top of your page, it reads "Home" along with your school name with a down arrow. Click on the down arrow.
-Click on "Add Network".
-In the network section, there is an open field. Type "NIRSA Championship Series" in the box.
-Click on the resulting name, "NIRSA Championship Series".
-Find your team under the respective league/sport.
-Click “Join Team” and fill out the required forms

On behalf of the University of West Florida, we would like to invite you to join us at the 2017 NIRSA Championship Series Flag Football National Championship held here in sunny Pensacola, Florida. Games will take place on January 6th and 7th. The entry fee is $400 per team. This year there will be a $1,000 First Place Cash Prize!!! If your team is interested in participating please fill out the entry form and send it to email@example.com or register your team on IMLeagues.com by Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
We will send the pool play schedule out to all captain's by 5:00PM on Friday, January 5th. Please note that all Open teams will play their first game on Saturday morning, January 6th.
Every member of your team will need to fill out a Participant Waiver, which is also attached to the entry form. These waivers can be mailed in or brought to the tournament. However, every participant will need to have a waiver on file before they can play.

The NIRSA National Flag Football Championships has partnered with RoomRoster to bring hotel accommodations to travel teams for this event.
Teams are able to book any hotel of their choice through the Team Profile. Once the hotel is contracted and ready for booking, a link will be sent to the Team Manager to forward to all team members in order for them to reserve their room from the Block created by the Team Manager.
