Every job that you have, communication skills is a must. Even if you are just do… even if you are just coding all day long because if you can’t communicate with your employees or your employer in an effective way, it’s going to be very difficult of you to find fulfillment at your job or even stay at that job. So, with the speech and debate team, I’m able to help undergraduates grow their communication skills in a way that not only helps them in the classroom, but in the job field beyond. 

My current plan right now is to go higher in the academic world, and I wish to become a teacher in higher education. I want to become a college professor, and I want to teach. I’m not a hundred percent sure what I want to teach, but right now my dream job would be teaching fashion advertising for sure. And I could expand. I could go into… I could become a teacher of public relations. I could become a professor of advertising. I’m not a hundred percent certain where I’ll land, but I do know that I want to become a professor. And I want to teach others about messaging, and semiotics, and how words 
and certain images affect us, and how you can use that. 

I’m very interested in that. I feel that as a graduate student here at UWF what I’m pursuing right now and here at UWF is going to equip me for sure in both the working field and also the academic for sure.
