I was looking for something that had more of a community-based feeling, and where the professors knew my name and they knew who I was. And I just managed to continue on here in different programs because I enjoyed that. I enjoyed the personable… the relationships I had with my… not just the faculty, with was staff members too. Everybody that works in the office, the office administrators, they’ve all been very nice and helpful along the way. 

My bachelor’s is in Criminal Justice, my master’s is in Community Health and Education, the doctoral program that I’m in is in… of course an educational doctorate and it’s a specialization in Diversity Studies. And Diversity Studies encompasses diversity, so a variety of things. So, I just kind of moved around and, and kept taking different types of courses. And I’ve enjoyed every single one of them, and that’s why I’m here, that’s how I stayed.
