Doing research, because it seems like graduate school is really focus on research, I’ve partnered with Career Services to conduct research doing interviewing. I’ve also partnered with the Marine Biology program, and I’ve collected data and actually gone on field excursions with the Marine Biology program just collecting data and making observations as far as scientific communication. 

I was really interested in doing research, and so I knew that UWF had a great research program. And me being able to mold my degree into being a researcher and going into communications as well as marine biology definitely aided me in the process. 

I definitely see me moving toward a research role. I’m really passionate about conservation education as well as scientific education. And so, pursuing a doctorate is really in the midst. After taking… it was just my first semester in the program, but after taking the courses that I did, I realized that I really do want to further my education and I think the best way to do that would be going into a doctoral program. So, it’s definitely molded me into being more passionate about education. And so, possibly teaching or I don’t know, the sky really is the limit.
