For the last Fall and Spring semester, I was a teaching assistant at the Math department as well. For example, I did the labs for Pre-Calc, and since I have now earned enough credits, I’m also allowed to teach my own class. So, during the Summer, I am teaching Math for Liberal Arts I, which is a lot of fun and a really good experience for me. 

And for the Spring semester, I was able to work on my own research. It was about life expectancy in the U.S., and it was always in the guidance of a professor. 

The research… It is a really good experience at UWF. All the faculty really welcomes it. You just need to ask them when, if you are interested to do some research. They always have some projects going on, and they always like, really like you to get involved with it. 

So, I just want to encourage you to make the best and the most out of your time as a graduate student at UWF.
