I got my bachelor’s, got my registered nurse, and decided that I wanted to further my education. And that fall, I enrolled in the education track cause a big part of nursing is 
education. 

So, people who are interested in becoming a nurse will come through either my classroom, or I really want to do the clinical instructing part where I take them to the hospital, and I get their skills. 

With a higher education you have the higher probability of moving up. So, getting into management positions, administration, becoming an educator for the hospital. It doesn’t just have to be in an academic setting. 

Whenever I’m ready to retire from floor nursing, I now have something to do to further the profession that I love.
