I really enjoy the sense of community that the program has provided me. So I’ve really gotten to know the people that I go to school with, and it’s really created a sense of community and belonging. And I really appreciate that, because I didn’t expect to have that with graduate school. 

I’ve definitely noticed that the faculty really cares, like genuinely cares, about your success. And I don’t think that’s common to find other places. I’ve really appreciated it. I always know that I can go to them and ask them questions – whether it’s about my personal life, or it’s about school. 

I’ve really appreciated the opportunity for graduate assistantships. So I’ve been able to work with the department, with professors, and I’ve also started working with Graduate Admissions. And I’ve really enjoyed the diversity that I’ve had within my graduate assistantships, because I can see how it will apply to my field as well. 

I’ve really enjoyed the real-life applications that have been in my program. And I think that allows for us to get real experience while we’re going throughout the course. They really try to make sure that we understand what we’re gonna be doing once we actually get into the field, and so they try to make sure that our projects revolve around that, and I think that’s gonna be really helpful when trying to find a job after I graduate. 

I don’t know, I feel like I’ve just kind of fallen in love with UWF being here.
