[Music] Hello and thank you for your interest in the para to teacher tuition support program. You have just taken the first step in advancing yourself toward a career in teaching. You came to this website because you enjoy what you do and you want to make a difference in the lives of children who need it most. Motivated by your love for working with students with disabilities, you may now have the opportunity to pursue your ambition and earn a degree as a special education teacher. The para to teacher tuition support program is a state-funded grant program that provides financial assistance for paraprofessionals who are serving students with disabilities in Florida's public schools. The tuition support program can help offset the costs of returning to college while allowing you to choose the college or university program that best suits your needs. Designed with the working paraprofessional in mind, our program can provide financial assistance towards completing your degree. You just need to decide which Florida-based college or university you plan to attend by viewing the interactive map on our webpage. Once you have applied and been accepted to one of the special education teacher preparation programs you can then apply for our tuition support, but please carefully review our program requirements. Admittance is dependent on funding and available space in the program. Once in the program, we've got you covered. Returning to school is rewarding and can provide access to opportunities. It's also not as intimidating as you think. As a 36-year-old mom of three children, I left behind a career as a television news producer and took a job as a paraprofessional in an elementary school and went back to college to finally finish my bachelor's degree. I did it, and so can you, so why not go for it? Your time may be now. [Music]
