UWF was named a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security through the academic year 2021-2022 (2016)
High-Stakes Programs, Award-Winning Teams
UWF Cyber Club placed second in the 2020 Southeast Regional Cyber Defense Competition, and has won the 2017 and 2018 Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association CyberThon, and the 2017-2019 iTen Wired Cyber Defense and Incident Response Competitions.
