A lot of times when we're looking for a new applicant, a new team member, we know what we want but we don't know who that is yet and Career Services knows who that is for us. They know their students very well. They know exactly where to go, how to get them. Whether it be tech, whether it be finance, whether it be creativity, they can find it for us and work with us to get the applicants we're looking for. >> I actually heard about my internship opportunity through a career fair they were throwing for information technology majors. I saw Navy Federal. I got to hand them my resume, just give them a little about myself. Career Services really helped me get this internship and now a job here Navy Federal. >> What we appreciate about UWF graduates is that they want to develop professionally and that they look at this as a career opportunity, not just as a stepping stone. >> The biggest challenge that we've had is actually having good people and other employers wanting to hire them away from us. We've realized that we have so much success hiring from the college that most of our recruiting and who we hire is from there because we know that they are going to be a good candidate, they're going to be ready to work, and they're aspiring to have a career which is what we're looking for.
