This program highlights a relevant curriculum with practical courses that focus on advanced skill development in geospatial science and business management. Courses are updated to reflect the latest developments in the industry including conservation GIS, emergency response and management, location intelligence for business, open-source mapping, and more. Catalog Description

GIS Capstone Project: Students enrolled in the PSM (GIS) program are required to complete a two semester Capstone project, under the direct guidance of a qualified mentor and under the supervision of the GIS 6555 Capstone course instructor. Students currently employed in a GIS position may elect to use their current position for the project.
