UWF - Miami Dade College Agreement

This transfer agreement is to promote a special admissions process for students graduating from Miami Dade College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity with express admission opportunity into the Master of Science in Cybersecurity program at the University of West Florida.


Under a new articulation agreement between the University of West Florida and Miami Dade College, students from Miami Dade College graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity degree may be eligible for express admission into the Masters of Science in Cybersecurity program at UWF. Students are eligible if they meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of the Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity at Miami Dade College within the last 6 years from the date of application.
  • Cumulative undergraduate GPA from Miami Dade College at the time of application will be a 3.0 GPA or higher.

To be considered for express admission, please complete the express admission form and then wait for further instructions from the department. In the form, choose a concentration you wish to pursue in the program. The program offers four concentrations and they are listed in the catalog. Concentrations in non-technical areas will require prior experience in those areas for express admission to be approved.
