Dr. Zakaria Al-Qudah is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department, University of West Florida (UWF). Prior to joining UWF, he served as an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering and Program Coordinator at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), UAE, and as an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at Yarmouk University, Jordan. Dr. Al-Qudah is generally interested in computer networking and Internet research. Specific subjects include the performance and security of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), Next Generation Networks and Internet Measurements. He has published several papers in high quality conferences and journals. Moreover, he holds two U.S. patents in the area of anycast content delivery networks.

My research interests are in the security and performance of the Internet. I have worked on key components of today’s Internet infrastructure including content delivery networks, application hosting platforms, and their security. I am also interested in an empirical approach to system design and analysis; most of my research papers involve some elements of Internet measurements.
