This section provides information on UWF's policies and guidelines on gender and sexual violence.

Commitment to the Campus Community

Members of the university community, guests and visitors have the right to be free from sexual violence. All members of the campus community are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others. The university prohibits sexual misconduct and is committed to fostering a community that promotes prompt reporting of all types of sexual misconduct and gender-based discrimination.

Based on the policy, sexual misconduct includes:

  • Non-consensual sexual conduct
  • Non-consensual sexual intercourse
  • Sexual Harassment

If you feel you have been a victim of sexual misconduct or gender-based discrimination, it is important for you to know your rights and your options in reporting the incident. You will find important information and contacts in this section of the web site.
