SeaPerch Robotics

July 9, 2018

Camp Description

Submerge yourself in mechanical design, construction, problem solving and teamwork to construct your very own submersible, remotely operated vehicle (ROV). SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program. Working in groups, you will build an underwater ROV while learning about robotics, engineering, science and mathematics. Building a SeaPerch ROV teaches the basics of ship and submarine design and encourages students to explore naval architecture and marine and ocean engineering. Teams will test their robot, competing in multiple challenges in the UWF pool (campers do not need to get in the pool).
