The Dr. Grier Williams School of Music presents between 75 & 100 performances per academic year. These range from Professional Artists brought in for performance and Masterclasses to Faculty Concerts and Various Ensemble recitals. Most of these performances are held in the Music Hall, a 309-seat auditorium. While most of these performances are free, reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the Center for Fine and Performing Arts Box Office at (850) 857-6285.

In addition, each Junior and Senior-level Music Performance major is required to present a recital as partial fulfillment of their of their Bachelor of Music Degree. No tickets are required for these performances. For information regarding the schedule of student recitals, please call the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music Office at (850) 474-2147. As oftentimes happens in academia, the dates and times of these recitals are subject to change.

Rentals and Other University Events

In addition to the events by the Music and Theatre programs, the Center for Fine & Performing Arts plays host to numerous other events produced by other University Departments as well as local non-profit and for profit organizations. We do our best to make sure that all of these events are included in the University Calendar, when possible.
