NCEES FE - Mechanical

Take the first step towards becoming a professional licensed engineer. UWF’s NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering - Mechanical Exam Prep online continuing education course will help you prepare for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in the mechanical engineering discipline.


In this 13-week online course, you will learn to apply complete problems related to engineering mathematics, probability and statistics, solve engineering economics problems related to the time value of money, calculate stress using Mohr's circle, solve problems related to thermodynamic power cycles and determine heat transfer from convection or conduction.

Admission Requirements

Non-Credit: Anyone who is eligible to take undergraduate coursework is eligible to enroll in this course. 

For Credit: Mechanical Engineering can use this class as a degree elective. The prerequisite of EGN 4950 (Capstone Design I) is to ensure that the student is an upper-level engineering student. The prerequisites can be waived, but that is determined by the student and whether they feel they have the knowledge equipped to take the course and pass the certification.

Tuition Assistance

In order to be eligible for financial aid or military benefits, the courses must apply to your degree, and, for financial aid, you need to be degree-seeking. Financial aid is not available for non-degree-seeking students. NCEES FE Mechanical exam cost ($175) is not included.
