NCEES FE - Electrical and Computer

UWF’s NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering - Electrical and Computer Exam Prep course is designed to prepare senior-level electrical and computer engineering students for the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Exam in the EE and CpE discipline.


In this 13-week online course, you will learn to apply math and science concepts to solve complex mathematical problems, apply engineering concepts to solve engineering problems and evaluate situations to determine ethical responsibility.

Admission Requirements

Non-credit: Anyone who is eligible to take undergraduate coursework is eligible to enroll in this course.

For credit: Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering can use this class as a degree elective. The prerequisite of EGN 4950 (Capstone Design I) is to ensure that the student is an upper-level engineering student. The prerequisites can be waived, but that is determined by the student and whether they feel they have the knowledge equipped to take the course and pass the certification.

Tuition Assistance

In order to be eligible for financial aid or military benefits, the courses must apply to your degree and, for financial aid, you need to be degree-seeking. Financial aid is not available for non-degree-seeking students.

The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is the first step in the process of becoming a professional licensed engineer (P.E.).
